Please join us for a celebration of the darkest time of the year and the return of the Sun as it is reborn on the Solstice. We will be honoring the solar deities as the sun stand still in the sky, and giving devotion to our grove patroness as we reach the third year of our restored grove!

Yule is a celebration of the Winter Solstice which happens on December 21st. It marks the longest night and shortest day of the year. It was a time when our ancestors would celebrate together to keep up their spirits and to honor the reborn sun. We will honor abundance and protection from the deprivations of Winter this year as well as wassail an orchard like the old days. 

We will be honoring a number of deities for our Yule rite. We will be working with many solar deities such as Sunna, Sol Invictus, Dadzbog, Belenos, Grainne, Helios, Gaithasura, and others. We will also be honoroing our grove patroness: Urðr, who is a goddess of fate (Wyrd).
