Freysblót  or the Atumn Equinoxis the modern Norse Pagan form of the Wiccan Autumnal holiday of Mabon. This is a time where many people honor Freyr as god of harvest and peace, as well as his role as King of Alfheim. This also involves worship for the elves: the Faeries and ancestors in the land. Our grove celebrates this year with a focus on harvest and prosperity. We will be observing a Slavic rite for this turn of the Wheel.

Svetovit was the chief god of Arkona (now Rugen in Germany) and is a Slavic god of divination, victory, and harvest. His sanctuary was a major temple site with a divinatory white horse, a horn of plenty, and a priesthood. There is little surviving material but the reports we have indicate that he was honored for war and peace by the people of Arkona and the sorrounding countries. We will honor him as  victor and provider of prosperity.
